SONÇA international is initiating and developing sustainable cultural projects bridging north and south - hence our aim is to create new platforms for a dynamic exchange within the diversity of cultures!

Music is unquestionably Africa‘s first and foremost cultural resource and a perfect medium of communication. We are connecting institutional donors and/or corporate sponsors with innovative and sustainable projects in the fields of culture, tourism, education (music) and development (economic, environment & conservation).

SONÇA international also offers third party consulting in the field of sponsoring and fundraising to cultural institutions and organisations (e.g. orchestras and festivals) as well as to charities - with a strong focus on fully integrated, theme-based communication concepts for both - our partners and corporate sponsors or in form of sustainable fundraising campaigns.

Hence, we act as a full-service agency and local implementing partner - taking care of the entire project management, marketing and communication including the funding – but also offer concepts for educational programmes and music programming including event management for classical music and jazz.

SONÇA international is a not-for-profit association and was founded in 1998 by the Mozambican soprano Stella Mendonça to promote MUSIC & ART. Andreas F. Ziegler joined the managing team in 2006 - together we are offering more than 25 years of expertise in cultural and charity administration, music and event management including music programming and education.
